David Bustos 
David Bustos is a Managing Director in the Global Investment Banking group at RBC Capital Markets where he serves as Regional Head, British Columbia. He is responsible for coverage of a number of public and private corporations, private equity and family offices, and government entities. Dave’s duties include coordination of M&A advisory, strategic and capital structure advice and capital formation assignments, including execution of equity, debt and hybrid offerings. With a long background in Vancouver investment banking, he has experience in a variety of sectors, including utilities, forest products, mining, technology and industrial and consumer products.
A Vancouver native, Dave spent 16 years in investment banking with Canadian and U.S. investment banks before joining RBC Capital Markets in March 2009. Immediately prior to joining the firm, he spent two years outside of investment banking with Inwest Investments, a diversified holding company with significant interests in real estate and pharmaceutical finance.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a Leslie Wong Fellow, graduating from UBC’s Portfolio Management Foundation. He is a governor of Collingwood School, a university preparatory school in West Vancouver. David is married with two children.

Patrick is Vice Chair of TD Securities and Head of Investment Banking. Patrick has overall responsibility for client relationship management, transaction origination and execution for investment banking services, corporate lending and mergers and acquisitions in Canada and the U.S. In addition, Patrick is a member of the Management Committee.
Prior to assuming this role, Patrick headed TD Securities’ Communications & Media group as it established a leading position in this sector, completing transactions encompassing a range of strategic advisory services and equity and debt financing for clients in the telecom, wireless, broadcasting, media and cable sectors. Prior to joining TD Securities in June 1997, Patrick was with Salomon Brothers in New York and Toronto providing international financing and advisory services to Canadian companies. Patrick is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Upper Canada Chapter, and was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2002.
Patrick holds an MBA (with distinction) from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce (with honours) from the University of British Columbia.
